Collier County, FL – At approximately 7:30 p.m. on election night, the Supervisor of Elections Office will post the first set of Primary Election results on the website: www.colliervotes.com. This initial posting will represent a combined total of results from Early Voting and the mail/absentee ballots received to date.
Following the posting of the initial election results, election results from Election Day precincts reporting will be posted approximately every 45 minutes. The posting of results will continue, increasing the ‘Ballots Cast – Total’ figure on the website (arrow #2), until the results from all 62 precincts have been reported.
Election night results will be posted at www.colliervotes.com in a graph format similar to the example shown that was used to report the 2012 Presidential Preference Primary Election results.
- Arrow #1 points to the number of registered Collier County voters eligible to participate in the August 14th Primary Election – Eligible Voters – Total.
- Arrow #2 points to Ballots Cast - Total. This number represents the cumulative number of ballots cast up to that reporting. Following the initial posting of results, this figure will continue to increase throughout the evening until all 62 precincts have reported the results.
- Arrow #3 points to a hyperlink. Click any contest hyperlink for more detailed information about that contest – the number of votes by precinct and the percentage of votes.
At www.colliervotes.com, a link will also be included for easy access to Florida Election Watch. Clicking on this link will allow visitors to access Primary Election night results from across the State.
