Florida voter registration applications must be postmarked by today or turned in by 8:00 p.m.
Collier County, FL—October 9, 2012: Today, October 9th is the final day for new Florida voters to register to vote in the 2012 General Election on November 6th. Registration applications must be turned in to the Supervisor of Elections office or postmarked today in order to vote in this election. The main Elections office at 3295 Tamiami Trail East will remain open until 8:00 p.m. tonight to accommodate new registrants.
Application forms are available at the CollierVotes.com "Register to Vote" web page, the Supervisor of Elections offices (Collier Government Complex and Orange Blossom satellite), driver license offices, public libraries, government satellite offices, recruitment offices of the armed forces, and state agencies that provide public assistance and services to disabled residents.
To verify voter registration status, registered voters may go online to the CollierVotes.com “Am I Registered” web page. Civilian voters who have moved to Collier County from another Florida county should report their address change to the Supervisor of Elections office via phone, online, in person or in writing before Tuesday, November 6, 2012, or they will be statutorily required to vote a provisional ballot. Military voters and their dependents are exempt from this requirement.
