Signs identifying Election Day precincts to be up by October 31st

Collier County, FL-October 30, 2012:Starting Monday, October 29th, the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office began posting precinct signs for Election Day polling sites. Signs identifying the 59 sites across the county will be up by Wednesday, October 31st, to help voters find their assigned precincts before the November 6th General Election.

On Election Day, registered voters must vote in their assigned precincts, unlike the early voting sites open through November 3rd. During early voting voters can choose any one of the seven available locations. Voters who will participate on Election Day can find their assigned precinct at the “Find my Precinct” page or refer to their voter registration card.

Registered voters planning to vote in person during Early Voting or on Election Day are encouraged to study their sample ballot and bring it along to use as a guide when voting. To view a sample ballot, voters may go to the “My Sample Ballot” web page.

Voters may also continue to request absentee ballots online at the "Vote by Mail" page or by calling the Supervisor of Elections office at (239) 252-8450. Ballots requested after 5:00 p.m. on October 31st will not be mailed and must be picked up at the Elections office.

For more information, visit or call the Elections office at (239) 252-8450.
