Saturday, November 3rd is the final day to vote early in Collier County
Collier County, FL—October 31, 2012: This Saturday, November 3rd, is the last day to vote early for the 2012 General Election. The seven early voting locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and any voter in line by 7 p.m. will have an opportunity to vote. Collier County voters who want to cast their ballots early may do so at any one of the following sites:
- Everglades City Hall – 102 Copeland Avenue N
- Naples City Hall – 735 8th Street South
- Supervisor of Elections Office – Government Complex, 3295 Tamiami Trail East
- Golden Gate Library – 2432 Lucerne Road
- Immokalee Library – 417 North First Street
- Library Headquarters – 2385 Orange Blossom Drive
- Marco Island Library – 210 South Heathwood Drive
Estimated wait times at each early voting site are available online at the CollierVotes.com "Early Voting Wait Times" page. The web page displays wait times of: less than 20 minutes, less than 40 minutes, or more than 1 hour.
To date, approximately 28,000 Collier County voters have cast their ballots early. Collier County’s Library Headquarters location is the third busiest early voting site in the state.
State law requires voters to provide a valid photo and signature ID at the polls. A list of approved IDs is available at www.CollierVotes.com. The registration cards voters received in the mail from the Elections office are not approved ID and are not necessary at the polls. Voters without the proper ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
The Elections office encourages voters to study their sample ballot and bring it along to use as a guide when voting. To verify voter registration status, and to view a sample ballot, registered voters may go online to the CollierVotes.com “Am I Registered” web page.
