Collier County, FL— January 31, 2014: On Monday, February 3, the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office will begin mailing new voter information cards to Collier County voters who will see changes in their precinct locations.
The new precinct and polling site changes will reduce the 62 current precincts with 60 polling sites to 58 precincts with 57 polling sites.
Those affected by the consolidation and precinct boundary changes include voters who were registered in the following precincts during the 2012 election cycle: 157, 221, 345 and 592. Some voters registered in Precinct 101 near Verona Walk will also see a change in their polling location. To eliminate any confusion, new voter information cards will be mailed to all registered Collier County voters affected by the change and will contain information including voters’ precinct number, polling location and other essential voting information.
“The decision to make modifications to these five precincts will generate greater efficiencies and improve the overall service to all Collier County voters,” said Supervisor of Elections, Jennifer J. Edwards.
For more information regarding precinct locations, visit www.CollierVotes.com under the “Find My Precinct” tab, or contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at (239) 252-VOTE.
