NEWS RELEASE: Supervisor of Elections Receives Awards from the Southwest Chapter of FPRA

Collier County, Fla. - April 20, 2016: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office was honored with three awards by the Southwest Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association during their local Image Award Reception held on Tuesday, April 19.

An Award of Distinction and Judges\' Award were presented to Supervisor Jennifer J. Edwards, Communications Coordinator, Trish Robertson and Voter Education Coordinator, Heather Wysocki for their submission featuring an election-based calendar produced and distributed by the elections office in preparation for the 2016 Election Cycle. The office also received an Award of Distinction for their Love Your Country voter registration drive which encouraged voters to show love for their country by registering and voting in the March 15 Presidential Preference Primary.

In order to qualify for judging, Image Award entries must incorporate sound public relations research and planning and must meet the highest standard of production, implementation and evaluation of results within the means of a budget. Awards of Distinction are presented to entries that meet the standards of excellence set forth by the panel of judges and a Judges\' Award is presented by the judges for an outstanding entry that achieves maximum results while using a minimum amount of money.
