PUBLIC NOTICE: Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office Announces Logic & Accuracy Testing and Canvassing Board Schedule for the 2019 City of Everglades City Election

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.5612, you are hereby advised that the Logic and Accuracy testing of voting equipment for the November 26, 2019 City of Everglades City Election will take place with the Everglades City Canvassing Board, at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 3750 Enterprise Ave, Naples, FL, at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.  

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 102.141(2), the Everglades City Canvassing Board will meet at the Everglades City Hall, 205 Buckner Ave N, Everglades City, FL, at 7:00 pm on November 26, 2019 to conduct the Official Canvass of the City of Everglades City Election.   

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.591, the Everglades City Canvassing Board will meet at the Everglades City Hall, 205 Buckner Ave N, Everglades City, FL, at 7:00 pm on November 26, 2019 to conduct the Manual Audit of the City of Everglades City Election.

If any elector or candidate present at the canvass of ballots believes any ballot is illegal due to any defect apparent on the voter’s certificate, he or she may file a protest against the canvass of such ballot any time before the ballot is removed from the outer return envelope. 

Any person who decides to appeal a decision of this board will need a record of the proceedings pertaining thereto, and therefore may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
