The Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (F.S.A.S.E.) will award one $1,200 scholarship in 2012 to a Florida student majoring in Political Science, Public or Business Administration, Journalism or Mass Communications.
Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements outlined in the guidelines, be United States citizens, bonafide residents of Florida for two years proceeding the academic year for which the application is made, and registered voters in Florida.
To qualify, applicants must have finished at least two years of junior college or undergraduate work and have enough credits for enrollment as a junior. Students must be enrolled or have been accepted as a full-time student in a Florida senior college or university accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Postgraduate or second-degree students are not eligible.
The Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office will review applications from Collier County students and will schedule interviews with those students meeting ALL the requirements.
To be considered, applications and letters of recommendation MUST
be received by the deadline ~ 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012
