Today is the last day to vote in the City of Everglades City Election 

Collier County, Fla.-November 26, 2013: Today, November 26, 2013 is Election Day for the 2013 City of Everglades City Election. The polling site for this election is located at: Everglades City Hall, 102 Copeland Avenue North, Everglades City. Eligible voters can cast their votes between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Voters must be in line by 7:00 p.m. on November 26 in order to vote.

Voters must provide both a photo and signature ID at the polls. If a photo ID does not include a voter\'s signature, the voter will be required to provide an additional form of ID that includes the voter\'s signature. Voters without proper ID may vote a provisional ballot. Approved forms of ID are:

  • Florida Driver\'s License
  • DMV issued Florida ID Card
  • U.S. Passport
  • debit or credit card
  • military ID
  • student ID
  • retirement center ID
  • neighborhood association ID, or
  • public assistance ID

Completed mail/absentee ballots must be returned to Everglades City Hall by 7:00 p.m. on November 26. Mail/absentee ballots will not be counted if they are turned in at any other location. Voters who received an absentee ballot and decide instead to vote in person will be allowed to vote a regular ballot at the precinct.

Voters must have been registered on or before October 28, 2013 in order to participate in this election.
