The US Postal Service has changed its First-Class Mail service standards

Collier County, Fla. - March 3, 2016: Last year, election officials were notified by the USPS that their standard for local delivery of First-Class Mail would change from 1.8 days to 2.1 days. Although this change may seem minimal, it could affect voters who cast their ballot by mail.

Vote by Mail ballots for the Presidential Preference Primary must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. To ensure voters get their ballot to our office in time, we suggest voters mail their ballots no later than Thursday, March 10.

If you have questions on the status of your Vote by Mail ballot request, please contact our office at (239)252-VOTE or track your ballot online at www.CollierVotes.com.
