Collier County, Fla.— August 12, 2016: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office was honored with a Golden Image Award from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) during their annual state conference.

The elections office received the top award in the Printed Tools of Public Relations category for their Art for Democracy election calendar. The calendar was designed and produced by the elections office and features 12 pieces of artwork created by students in Collier County. The calendar also contains important dates and deadlines for voters to help them prepare for the 2016 Election Cycle.

In order to qualify for judging, Image Award entries must incorporate sound public relations research and planning, and must meet the highest standard of production, implementation and evaluation of results within the means of a budget. Golden Image Awards are presented to top-scoring entries in each category meeting predetermined criteria of excellence set by the judges.
