Florida is a Closed Primary State

Collier County, Fla.—February 14, 2020: Florida is a Closed Primary State and only voters who are registered members of a political party may vote for their respective party’s candidate in primary elections.

Voters who want to vote for a presidential candidate during the Presidential Preference Primary Election must be registered with a Democratic or Republican party affiliation by the voter registration deadline on February 18. To view or update your voter registration status, please visit www.CollierVotes.com.
