Collier County, Fla.— November 8, 2018: The Collier County Canvassing Board will hold its next meeting Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

During this meeting, the Canvassing Board will review provisional ballots and produce the first unofficial election results. Should a local recount be required it will be declared and ordered by the Canvassing Board after results have been produced.

Per Florida law the Canvassing Board will order a machine recount if a difference of less than one half of one percent of votes cast for an office exists between candidates.

All counties must submit their first unofficial results to the Florida Division of Elections by noon on Saturday, November 10, after which the state would declare any federal, statewide and multi-county recounts if applicable.

The public and media are invited to attend all Canvassing Board meetings, which will take place at the Supervisor of Elections office: 3750 Enterprise Avenue, Naples FL 34104.
