Absentee ballots may be requested throughout a calendar year for one or more elections up to all elections through the next two regularly scheduled general elections. Ballots requested more than 3 weeks before an election are mailed approximately 3 weeks before the election. Thereafter, requests are processed daily and mailed the next day. Requests for mailed ballots must be received not later than 6 days prior to each election. If you move out of Florida 29 days or more before election day, you MUST register to vote in the county where you now reside, and you will vote there. If you meet all of the requirements described, you may request an absentee ballot by website form, mail, in person or telephone.
